Coming from an extensive wrestling pedigree including representing Australia and competing against the likes of Australian former UFC Middleweight Champion Rob Whittaker, Nick Verreynne from CBRMMA made his MMA debut against Sekope Meke 3W-1L from Storm MMA, also in Canberra. Whilst proposing this match up, the match maker had hoped the high-level wrestling skills of Nick would balance out against the high level striking of Sekope and that’s exactly what happened.
